The bus was not on the bridge, instead it was in Causeway which was blocking the 2 Northbound lanes of traffic halting all NB Traffic for a length of time!

The second outage has resulted in track maintenance being canceled tonight - I believe it was canceled on Monday night as well for reasons unknown.

9713 and 2210 in a crash this morning on 41st and Rupert

A dashcam video of this incident surfaced online, taken from a vehicle that was travelling in the same direction as the trolley bus, a short distance behind it.

For clarity's sake I feel it should be pointed out that both the eastbound trolley and the car in the lane next to it were innocent bystanders, as they were both fully stopped at the red light at the time of impact. An white pickup travelling westbound on 41st ran the red light and got T-boned by the Nova bus travelling southbound on Rupert, and both those vehicles ended up plowing into the vehicles stopped at the light.

In all fairness, everyone involved other than the moron in the pick up was an innocent victim.

The video footage is on Vancouver's Worst Drivers.  Things that make you sigh.

The mk3s are sidelined due to an apparent issue in the gangway.

No timeline for return.

Expo Line to run more 4-car mk1 and possibly a few mk2.0 in 4-car formation.

On #468 right now. Evidently some of the Mark IIIs are starting to trickle back into service. Still lots of four-car consists of Mark Is, though.

A earlier wind storm ripped through UBC resulting in trees being down on University Blvd which has also taken down the Trolley Overhead.

Nothings done quite yet as far as cleanup (noon time sunday)

14 and 4 are diesel and on detour.
