16017 hasn't seem to have been in service since it hit the pedestrian? Write off???

They don't write off buses for hitting a pedestrian, but depending on the case, it may be out of service for investigation.

Lots of false positives on the GIDS this morning. (No surprise there.) All Expo and Millennium Line trains running under full ATO but with STAs at the hostler controls.

Reports now say that manned operation is now complete, oddball trains now being removed from Millennium line.

The half-dark trains were actually really nice while it lasted.

B8152 involved in a head on MVA WB Hastings just before Holdom. Looks like a SUV crossed the centre line where the impact occurred. Driver in the SUV had to have CPR performed at the scene. MVA just took place a few mins after 4pm this afternoon.

That bus returned to service on the 7th.

So just wanted to point out a few accidents involving our busses that aren't on wiki yet:

1. 9538? - Hit by a 4 door on January 8, 2011 on Kincaid and Smith in Burnaby.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2FB3wov_IE

2. 8115 - Involved in a 3 car mva on Broadway on May 31, 2012

(Sorry, couldn't find link, but I know that there was one)

3. 9523 - Hit a pedestrian on SW Marine Dr this past fall on November 4, 2018 near UBC? Can't really tell from the photo; the photo shows it towed from the 41 Crown terminus??? This would mark 9523's second accident; the other one being 5 years earlier on Hastings.

These are such minor details, does it really matter?

Why would someone post something on the wiki when the first 2 MVA's happened 7 & 8 years ago? Old news!

Lookin at the damage it rear ended another vehicle, resulting the operator following to close?

But if the operator was following too close than the main damage would be to the bumper area but here it looks like the damage is mainly on the passenger side

But something on a positive note, Translink has never had any accidents with fatalities on their vehicles from what I’ve read (Doesn’t include fatalities in vehicles that hit the buses), although they’ve dealt with a lot of seriously damaged buses (e.g. 3344, 15013, 9506, 8152, etc.).
