The bus has damage to the lower side panels on the left side about midway back. The truck's (steel) front bumper was peeled back on the right side by about 90 degrees. This caused congestion inside Metrotown station. Buses were lined up along central Boulevard beyond Mckay street. King George station is closed for the rest of the night due to a police incident in the area of the towers. CKNW Twitter says someone has climed a crane... ===edit=== The severity of the incident has resulted in King George Station being closed until middle of the morning rush hour on Friday the 17th. ===edit 2=== a few minutes after the closure was announced, that announcement was overturned: the station WILL be open at the start of service tomorrow.
