M. Parsons
I've been wondering what Leduc was doing for spare buses considering no new buses have been spotted, but they needed 5 buses in the PM peak (routes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10). There had been a report on purchasing 2 more Arboc's, or, leasing from PWT. I'm guessing they might have gone the leasing route in the meantime. I don't get out to Leduc too often so I'm sure this bus has been around awhile, I just wasn't there on the right day. It caught me off guard so that was the only pic. PWT 5315 with Leduc Transit decals. PWT 5318 was working a route 5. I would imagine that this was a back up PWT supplied due to too many Arboc's being down rather than a regular unit used like 5315 probably is. Finally LATS 109 working a fixed route shuttle. A bit of a quirk with Leduc that you can find midday fixed route transit service, but, it's limited to their assisted transportation service. Of course, the route 10 provides some midday coverage but this shuttles provides a bit more.
Articulated
Leduc is the latest community jumping on the On-Demand bandwagon, and effective August 16 (next Monday) will be replacing their local routes 2, 3, 4, and 5 with On-Demand service. There will be no change to commuter route 1, and route 10 will continue to operate but with extra early-morning service to replace access to the airport (previously provided by route 3). https://www.leduc.ca/news/demand-transit-coming-soon

With the Arboc's up for replacement, Leduc has decided to go the route of having PWT supply the buses for On Demand, using the Arboc's in the interim. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same FrontRunner's as PWT procured for ETS's service.
SidneyTransitfan
There seems to be a bit of a disagreement between the agency and vehicle pages whether the Arbocs are SOM26D or SOM26G. Just out of curiosity does anyone know for sure?

Just out of curiosity does anyone know for sure? Same model, just "D" stands for a Diesel (Duramax) engine and "G" stands for a Gasoline (Vortec) engine. Unfortunately I don't have an answer as to which engine is in these units.

I went out there for photos last year and I remember being surprised by them... so odd now that everyone has gone gasoline, but I suppose these are just that old at this point! Gas or diesel were are options until I believe 2017 when GM stopped offering diesel for the G series.

Well, not quite the FrontRunner's, but, PWT purchased the same basic Ford Transit/ Micro Bird used for the 200's On Demand buses for Edmonton and numbered them immediately after the Edmonton buses. I didn't have long so I'll go back for better pics later... the all white bus is likely 231 (license plate is one lower than 232's). 11-202 was running route 10. trevor_h_1985
All the On demand buses now all have decals....and I did a charter to ft edm park this past weekend with 11-103 As for arbocs...they are keeping 11-204 for route 10....and 11-203 as spare....11-200 will be used for a few minor charters otherwise basically 11-200 to 11-202 have been retired

All five arbocs are still in service.
