4614 will be tomorrow off load

4615 is schedule for Thursday off load.. depending on CP rail

Correct!

4614 was unloaded off transporter WDLX 8903 this morning Tuesday April 2, bright and early, just before 8 AM.

Car 4461 was used to tow it off the railcar transporter.

4614 has sat at Hillcrest all day and at this time (10:15 PM) it is just heading out the gate, being towed down to Leslie, also by 4461.

In other news, seems that no one reported that today April 2 was also the first day of service for car 4612. It was in full day service on 504A King,

4614 is at TTC Hillcrest loading dock to be offloaded next week. It does not have a front number.

Only a handful of cars were delivered with the unit number applied in black in that location - from the 4604+ batch currently being delivered, only 4606, 4609, 4610, 4611 & 4612 had it.

In all cases, it was switched to the standard white font before the cars went into on-street testing.

4613 which was offloaded last Monday did not have it.

In addition, from the original 204 car order, only 4400, 4401, 4402 & 4572 were delivered like that.

Correct!

4616 was unloaded just before 8 AM today, with 4433 pulling it off the railcar transporter.

4613 has enter service on 503 from Russell yard. It was moved back to the Barns last week for some work and then moved back to Russell.

4614 has been over at Russell the last few days for final work

4515 has spent time in the service bays after a few days of testing and was back out test yesterday.

Anyone know the present status of 4568? We're coming up on 2 years of it being out of service in July. That feels like a very long time for an accident victim.

4468 4534 4568 nothing has changed and no work has been done to them

4526 is at russell and in the same situation, just being stored there for now until time workforce and parts are available.Ā

4534 4568 it would be easier just to buy a new A MOD and replace the old

4468 has a giant hole in the roof not to mention the endless rabbit hole of wires to be replaceĀ

(Forgot to post last night) Spotted an unknown tram on a short train passing over Don Mills at 22:01 last night as I was going down the hill towards the overpass (it was too dark and I was too far away to see the number).

On a related note, which trains usually carry the trams, and what days / times do they usually run?

Thanks.

I recall with 4568, the day after the accident on St. Clair, it was towed (by car 4419) to Hillcrest and then, it spent a long time in one of the repair bays at Harvey. So there must have been at least some attempt to fix the damage. After some time, as the 8 year body rebuild program for the Flexity fleet was ramping up, 4568 was moved from that repair bay to make room for the cars going through body rebuild. Anyone know if 4568 is still at Harvey?

Car 4468 was pushed (by car 4507) to the nearest carhouse (Roncesvalles) - I actually caught that move in person - and even at a first, superficial glance, the damage to the roof indeed seemed quite severe. No idea where the car is now and whether any repair was even attempted, but I wouldn't be surprised if 4468 will end up as a complete write-off due to the extent of the damage.

Thanks for the update.

Transporter WLDX 8902, carrying car 4617 has been delivered to Hillcrest last night.

Car 4617 to be unloaded later this week.

So that was probably the consist you sawĀ  last night.Ā

It's a bit unusual that you saw it passing over Don Mills on the CPKC mainline, as the local that serves Hillcrest originates at Lambton Yard, That's how it's been for a very long time, unless CPKC has changed (again) its switcher assignments. It wouldn't be surprising, as some cars from the the initial 204-car series (starting with car 4418 and up to car 448x or 449x, IIRC) were delivered from Toronto Yard (a.k.a. Agincourt), because that's how the switcher serving Hillcrest operated back then.

I'll leave this for others who are better informed, but what I can tell you is that I have witnessed deliveries at different times, including around midnight, early in the morning around 6 AM or so, but also in the early afternoon on Sundays.

I don't think this is a question that can be adequately answered. The trams will be shipped when they are completed and ready for shipment, and that can happen on any day, and at any given time during that day. Unless you have a contact along the route who can inform you as to when a vehicle is leaving, and when it's scheduled to be down in Toronto, it is just sheer dumb luck.

I was going to stop off at Hillcrest today, but got side track that stop me.

Lambton was real empty and haven't seen it this way for some years and most likely why the short train to Hillcrest.

4616 is now over at Russell for SWIS.

4615 spent a few days at the Barns and back over at Russell this morning. It is now on the far west track and most likely ready to enter service on Thursday

Indeed it did - 4615 entered service for the first time today May 2 on 503 Kingston Road.

Also, car 4617 was unloaded at Hillcrest this morning.

Car 4445 was used to tow it off railcar transporter WDLX 8902.
