Car 4530 has entered service on 501 Queen today, 16 days after delivery.

Was watching to see if it would enter service today or tomorrow, since it was moved to the yard a few hours ago, but got side track. 4531 was out in the yard also, but in the service bay now.

So, this is getting a bit tricky to track, as I've rely on the sightings of others via Twitter and what have you, but....

If everything that I'm seeing is correct, this may be unit #8.

It takes two weeks to go from Agincourt Yard to Hilcrest?

No, not normally. However, all railways have been on their knees in the past month due to bad weather. Most local deliveries have been affected. CP's yards have been packed with delayed trains, which is why there were - and still are - many cars temporarily stored in various sidings until CP can handle them. Specifically with regards to TTC deliveries, there were 4 cars (4532/3/4/5) waiting in queue at Lambton and Agincourt for about a week, while the Hillcrest siding was blocked with freight cars. It was only last Wednesday that CP managed to move some of those cars to clear access to the siding, but there still is a long line of freight cars just east of the siding that have not been processed yet.  As far as TTC deliveries are concerned, the backlog is (almost) clear.  4533 was released from Thunder Bay on March 6, arrived in Toronto on March 12 and has been delivered today. 4536 was released from the factory last Thursday (March 21) and should arrive in Toronto tomorrow morning.

Maybe they shouldn't have abandoned some of their routes, since now they don't have enough capacity to meet their current demand.

Same goes with CN.

4532 & 4534 out at Humber loop testing

4533 was under its own power on Queen tonight at Church as it headed to the Barns for the first time.

Riders were upset with the other person on the car not in uniform and they had a right. TTC keeps telling riders to keep their feet off the seats, yet in full view of the public this other person had their feet up on the seat playing with their cell phone.

Have a photo of the car, but not the person with their feet on the seat
