j@den5766
I saw 405 at the garage today. It had no bike rack and no fare box. Must be retired.
GMC T6H-5307N
No! Not 405! No, please no! That's the last true GM bus running in Saskatchewan...
j@den5766
They should use some of the other retired classics to restore
GMC T6H-5307N
Yeah, unfortunately that may never happen...
j@den5766
I also wish that 732 would come back into service.
GMC T6H-5307N
It should go to the Moose Jaw WDM, and be part of their collection. D40's were pretty rare.
j@den5766
Isn't 732 still road worthy?
GMC T6H-5307N
Not really it looks like the front step is collapsed a little. Only a visit to it will confirm this though
M. Parsons
I can't imagine a D40 has held up too well sitting out in the elements for more than a few years.
GMC T6H-5307N
It looks to be in good condition, but then again, it has been sitting for a while. Can't be sure until somebody goes and takes a look at the bus itself.
j@den5766
Is the public allowed into Nicholson Yards?
GMC T6H-5307N
You have to be a contractor who is disposing of construction waste. Steve (aka stm-5307n) got in in 2009, but the rules may have changed.

Ralph Watzke
Mention was made of Saskatoon Fishbowls 821-822, 824-826 were from St. Albert. I can tell you about 823. It was originally supposed to be part of this purchase but was rejected as being defective. So 823 ended up for a number of years on the side of Highway 11 as a billboard for Manitou Beach Resort but it's gone now.
SidneyTransitfan
While on the VIA Canadian to Winnipeg a couple of days ago, I caught a glimpse of an ex. Saskatoon green Classic on the south side of the track, somewhere between Saskatoon and Allan. Regrettably I didn't get a shot as I was on the wrong side of the train.
