8043 is on the 41 Joyce Station right now.  Goes to do 43's after.

I've done that trip before. 15:09 out of Dunbar Loop. It's a school tripper, effectively, but you used to get 3 minutes at Joyce and then turn right around as a westbound 41 again. Every time I did that particular block, I was alright on the first trip, and then for the rest of the day I'd be running -20 to -25.

Wait, that exists?  Holy s***.  I went to school on Willow & 33rd last year and walked to Cambie every day for the Canada Line or 41/43.  I had no idea an artic would come to the Willow stop at 3:30.  I imagine the other students don't know either.  I would tell them, but I don't go to that school anymore.  I will have to get that trip sometime though.  Is it every weekday?  Approx how long has it existed?

Just this sheet. Let's check it out tomorrow.

I'll see if an am tripper exists.

Doesn't seem to be an am artic tripper. I guess it's pm only.

On the other haND, I don't see PCTC doing any extra work on 135 and 145. I only see 14026, 8030, and 8084. I guess that explains the extra RTC transfers (8068-8073)

So apparently one of the younger enthusiasts managed to catch 8043 on the 41

Dont know if hes on here though BUT, I have him on snapchat (we met at the Mark 3 rollouts)

JK he's on here now as "Jasoncouver Transit System".

Jason, how full was the bus when you got on?

It was half full once we got with a stroller on board

I've actually seen artics on the #41 once or twice before this sheet, including at least once during the Olympics. You'll also occasionally see trolleybuses on the #41 for training - of course, these will short-turn at Crown Loop.

IIRC, TransLink is as a matter of policy gradually going through and re-doing bus stops throughout the system so that any route can be worked by an artic if needed. Certainly any bus stop being built now is capable of taking an artic.

Anyone know how long this block has been around for? I remember seeing an Orion V on the C87 a couple years ago, but not since then...

Hey, I did that run on my birthday. 606, C87 followed by two 354s. It's probably been around for a while, because on the Ladner runs you're basically the DSS school bus. Pick up all the kids from school, drop them off through north Ladner on the way back to the exchange, then a few stragglers stay on for the C87 portion.

When I was doing the second 354 my supervisor got on my bus too...

BTC handles one 144 trip before interlining into a 130 for the rest of the day.

There's another one too.  Then goes onto a 28 after.  I'm pretty sure there's another too, that is around 7-ish that is a southbound trip that goes to North Van routes later, but I'll look.
