That's some weird interlines.  Optimization at its best no doubt.  Didn't realize the 430 needed artic's at any time of the day.

The 430 is a pretty busy route and honestly needs to run until midnight, cause 10pm isn't late enough. Surprising to see an artic run during the early evening on the 430, but definitely a welcome change.

This is more of a wish for extra transit service, but it'd help a lot to have the last runs of the 49 and 430 timed to pick up passengers from the last SkyTrain / Canada Line. I've actually gotten stuck a number of times at both Metrotown and Langara-49th not realizing that the bus service ended sooner...

Yet we have 112's leaving metrotown at 2:30 in the morning with nobody on them, Cause that makes sense when the service hours could be put towards the 430 or anywhere else more deserving

The 430 definitely needs to run till later into the night. I say 12 in the morning to help out with the last silver city crowds that needs to head back to richmond after a later night movie. I've been on a completely jam packed 430 during the evening many times and yes an arctic is required on that route during those times

I've done that 112 departing metrotown at 230am and it has a purpose.  If everything is the same as it was a few years ago, it would arrive as the last 106 to metrotown, layover, meet the last 19 pulled into metrotown and some passengers transferred to my 112.  It goes to Patterson station then down to kingsway where it meets the N19 Metrotown.  It would then continue to New West Stn then continue as a N19 to Surrey then NIS.  I think it's mostly the same, just without the N19.

See the problem is, it doesn't connect to the N19 Metrotown, that run is now a N19 Surrey, at 1:30am, or something close to it.  It doesn't really pick up anybody anymore as most have switched over to the n19

an even more useless one is the early morning 112. It connects with the last weekday N19 Surrey Central, which is... less than useless. I guess if you're going to somewhere on Kingsway between Edmonds and New West station?

Forgot about that one! Although 12th street is quite busy on that trip in the morning so might as well just run it down Kingsway from Boundary regardless.

An increase in frequency will be good enough for the 430, which doesn't really need arctics that much. I am surprised to see it still running every 30 minutes at most period, especially at the weekends, being a route that connects two major shopping centers.

Unfortunately, without funding for additional bus hours and the buses to serve those hours, something like the 430 probably won't see an increase of service any time soon.

However, in September, there will be a small bit of added service at the beginning and end of the day with buses going in and out of service on the 430 at Mitchell island.  NIS to and from HTC makes that possible.

Speaking of T-comm,

I was out to chase 8124 this morning on the N19. Somehow it signed off at 28:59. I wonder if for some reason all tmac entries from the previous service day are cancelled at 5am.

Got kinda concerned that the bus wouldnt make it to Surrey Central but it eventually did.

Looks like this might be another glitch in the system? Tcomm shows 3101 on the 136, but not at all when the block is scheduled for. Weirdest part is that it shows up on Translink's nextbus too. Wish I was in the area to check it out...

I just rode it an hour ago and it's 9611 misprogrammed as 3101.

As of right now, 8093 is on it!

And I was just on that bus O.o

Anyways, if Im right, that trip has always been a 40-footer. I guess this schedule they were able to put artics on it.

P.S. I was supposed to reference 8087 or something but this page keeps freezing on my phone.

HA, I know that one. I've done the last 19 coming into metro at 26:25 and I always had some random kooks on the bus.

The tracker's a little broken today. Seems the new schedule or runs haven't been populated yet. That or the holiday case hasn't been handled... although I'd be really surprised if that was the reason. Not really alarmed or surprised though... and kind of amusing to see everything on time for once ;)
