Winnipeg Transit will be redesigning its website in the coming weeks

http://winnipegtransit.com/en/regular-transit/news#we'reredesigningourwebsite

We’re redesigning our website

In the coming weeks we will be making some changes to the layout of our website. These changes are being made to improve navigation on our site.

What’s Changing?

Quick Links
The first big change you will see is that we have moved some of our key information into the middle of our home page with linked buttons to take you directly to these pages. These buttons will change to reflect major events or projects that are occurring at Transit.

Navigation Toolbar
You will also notice that we have done away with the drop down menu option at the top of the page. Now you will navigate our site by using the left sidebar. Menu’s will expand and contract with the click of a button.

Some of the left menu category titles have also changed to better reflect the information within. For example the Rider Guide contains information on what’s new in transit, information on accessible transit as well as travel tips and park and ride information.

Search option
A nice addition to our home page is a search feature that allows you to quickly navigate through our site to the information you are looking for. The right side of the homepage provides a quick reference guide to cash fare prices as well as a quick link to our Navigo trip planner and stop schedules page.

Familiar features
You will still be able to access our Navigo trip planner and schedules page right from our home page, just like before. These features allow you to quickly plan trips for now, or later in the day.

As we move closer to going live with our new design we will update you with a date and time for the changeover.

In the real-time bus schedules, a cancelled trip is sometimes marked as both cancelled AND early/late at the same time. For example, the 14:24 trip in the screenshot below, taken today, is marked as cancelled (strikethrough) AND as early (italics and the "Scheduled time: 14:29" popup). Obviously it can't actually be both. Does anyone have any insight into what causes the system to report the bus in this way?

I don't know, but my guess would be that while the University-related trip is cancelled the bus is still operating the other pieces of it's schedule, and on that piece it's early.
