CPTDB History

Recommended Posts

I was looking through some old CPTDB post and found some of the discussions interesting, especially the predictions that some folks had. Is there a link to CPTDB as far back as 1997. Or between 1997-2004. In the GTA sections?

Thank for this platform, its appreciated!

I seem to recall it being a bulletin board style in the early 2000's. There was a link up to the "old" page that was hosted somewhere (I don't think post viewing worked) but it seems to have disappeared.

wow. ever since I discovered CPTDB in 2011 when the old layout was around. The new layout is sleek. When I joined I was bad at my grammar and such. Still working on it.

The "old" version of the board from 2006 can still be accessed here: http://old.cptdb.ca/

Before that point, CPTDB was on a totally different site altogether (CGI For Me) which, to be honest, was not a scalable solution. Imagine scrolling through links for EVERY SINGLE POST! A couple of screenshots (the first 2) of the original board are available on the History link.

There will be a major software upgrade this summer.

Thank you very much!

I've actually particpated CPTDB since the late-90s (that was during my elementary school days). The first original URL was: http://www.x-pointcg...d/wwwboard.html - use archive.org to access the site.

I wish I was aware of the site back then. I remember NA bus, and the paper buses it had, like 6218, 6744, 7069. I still remember them.
