TTC Nova Bus Delivery & Service Tracking

Recommended Posts

It seems like the power steering glitch has popped up among the Nova BAE hybrids in Quebec, forcing many transit agencies in Quebec to ground them this morning. This was the same glitch that the TTC experienced. It's going to be a mess especially for the STM and many others considering the hybrid buses form a significant part of their fleets, and I wonder if this issue would recur in the TTC or not.

Apparently the Nova hybrids were pulled from service again on Friday due to electrical issues. Inspections are being done on the buses this weekend and if the buses are operating properly, then they are being put back into service.

This might be an after event publication. The whole fleet was withdrawn for the issue a few weeks ago. I didn’t read the article given that the fleet was already pulled off the road for the electrical steering issue (I think)

Guess that one didn't have any problems then as it is out on the 53 today.

There were about 17 out in service earlier. It doesn't look like a wholesale sidelining.

Returning to Malvern at we speak, it's on Markham Rd going north. 3404 still lingers at Wilson from before the defect sent a few over

3404 is actually there for Mechanic orientation.... and was at Wilson for at least two weeks before the defect storage took place.
