Who cares! We'll know the number of the first bus this week. All this speculation is pointless.

I agree with that. It's just clogging up the board.

Actually sometimes speculation can be a good thing. It might be pointless at the end but it gets people's minds going.

It is somewhat fun to see what people think, but it doesn't change the fact that it's basically pointless.

As @PCC Guy stated, we will know the fleet number of the first bus this week.

Alright people! No more speculating fleet numbers! If we were to continue like this, this thread would have to be called the speculation thread where all rumours and inaccurate information is posted sending a bad message to other people on this board that read this thread. When the first unit is reported as delivered to Birchmount this week that will confirm the fleet range for this set of buses and let's just leave it at that.

Why 2000s? That was fishbowl territory and they were iconic one of a kind buses so the TTC should avoid reusing those numbers. It's just like in sports a remarkable player will have his number retired to the rafters so it should be the same scenario here.

I saw a brand new demo with white livery bus from Nova that passed by when I drove on 401 at Bayview avenue this afternoon around 5:20 pm. It could be going to Hamilton or Mississuaga.

Was it a hybrid or diesel?

Then it's likely the one that TTC's going to be looking at ahead of the full batch of LFS HEVs coming in later this year.

Thanks for your quick response, sir.

ADMIN to delete this post, as I just speculated on fleet numbers when I've been told not to. Thanks!

So will your heads all explode when you find out that they're arriving numbered in the 3100s?

There are two brand new Nova buses that are parked at Arrow Rd garage. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the fleet numbers because of where the units were parked at the garage. Nevertheless, there are two new units on TTC property.

In front of the garage. There's the parking lot and behind it is a set of concrete blocks. And behind those blocks were the two units parked beside some other novas and hybrids. The protector shields were still on the vehicles and the way the units were parked, the front of the buses were facing the street. What I could see on the buses was that there are two external cameras on both sides of the bus. One at the front sides and the other on the back sides. The last order had one external camera on each side of those buses at the front sides.

Thanks for the info, I'll go and check it out as I have a long lens. Are you able to confirm which area it is on this map? The green or red arrow? http://prntscr.com/jmow9n

3103 and 3104 have been delivered to Arrow! They have side cameras at the rear. Had to use my phone camera as the driver didn’t allow me to get off then exit through the car lot (understandable).

Photo will be uploaded once home.

The 3100s also have a fleet number at the back of the bus (interior) and 2 USB ports at the back of the bus. Also there is some new black bar on the interior roof above the stair area, I don’t know what it is. Credit to @Leakiwen (an Arrow Road driver) on instagram. If you wish to see please check his photos out on his page.

Why start at 3100? Why not logically start at 9240? There's plenty of space between 9240 and 9999, and furthermore, by starting at 3100 there's not much space as above 4000 is for streetcars, which leaves only 900 spaces for buses.
