mpatey123
What ever happened to MacKenzie Buslines based out of Bridgewater, NS. Did they go bankrupt or just give up on the business? I remember they ran a lot of classic MCI coaches like the MC4's and MC5's plus they had a few 96A3's and MC9's.
Kevin L
Appears they ended operations in fall 1998.
jc.theriault
They closed up after ridership numbers got too low and they were running a mostly older fleet that took a lot of cash to pass the NSPUB (in the days before it became the NSURB) safety inspections twice a year. DRL came in from Nfld and took over the Yarmouth - South Shore route and eventually got approval for a sizeable charter coach fleet. DRL buses were kicked out of NS after the URB cancelled their operating licenses for flagrant safety issues. Trius Tours from PEI took over the route and ran it until they dropped the scheduled service early in 2013.
