A brief inside ride in a D902.

My goodness that was loud for a 40 footer, so I would assume they were louder than the D40's, especially since they were mechanical (vs. the DDEC version). Thanks for that video.

Pretty much. It was the way they were geared I think is what made them loud. I heard Houston Metro's Neoplan AN460s (the early 90s ones) were regeared and became noisy afterward.

It sounded as loud as a D60. Oh okay, that makes since. I like how Houston did that (instead of doing the opposite).
