Miami-Dade Transit Discussion

Recommended Posts

All 1999s and numerous 2000s have been retired as a result to my knowledge

A friend of mine who is an MDT employee (though he doesn't work in the bus division) has said that 28 2020 Gilligs have been cleared for service, so the remaining 9900s (and 2000s) may not have much time left.

Reports that all 120 Gillig BRT Pluses have been sidelined due to a recall from Gillig. Repairs should be beginning today, with the arrival of a team from Gillig and buses will be returned to service once the repairs are completed.
