I accidentally came across 21120 while it was in the middle of being delivered. Driver stopped at a Walmart in Jacksonville, FL. A real sharp looking bus for sure.

Is this spotted off I-95 at my city Today?  It really looks nice and I saw it on I-95 passing St Johns River on the I-95 express Routes heading to Golden Glades Interchange for the bus yard later on this afternoon and it was delivered at the bus yard after the 2003 NABI 40-LFW.17 Diesel buses were retired and they were still waiting for the older diesel NABIs to be repainted back to their original livery and restored for their Historical collection.

And @Stalwart23  has already edited out the fleet numbers for 21101-21188 for 2021 New Flyer XN40  140 additional CNG order which is falsely edited by @Chao-Hwa Chen, for 18101-18269 that has Voith D864.6 Transmissions. According to Marcos A.R on YouTube, the 2018, most of 2019 (19101-19110, 19131-19231) , 2020 and 2021 XN40s has Allison B400R Transmissions while 19111-19130 has Voith D864.6 Transmissions. The 2010 Gillig BRT HEV #10101-10105 has Cummins ISB6.7 (not ISL9) and Allison H 40 EP Hybrid Drive system, while 2012 Gillig BRT 30 ft #12301-12303 has Allison B300R Transmissions (not Voith D864.5)  and 2014 Gillig BRT Diesel 40 #14131-14135 has Allison B400R Transmissions (not Voith D864.5). The fleet numbers for 33 2021 Proterra ZX5 Electric Bus has not been confirmed yet after the delivery completion of 2021 XN40s. Hope the fleet numbers will start at 21189 and up.

And Miami-Dade Transit was not listed on the NABI 60-BRT page and someone forgot to edit that Miami-dade Transit was the last customer of NABI 60-BRT HEV buses that were ever Produced before transfort in FT Collins, CO was the last customer of NABI 60-BRT CNG that were ever built before the order was discontinued.

Proterra and Miami-Dade County Announce Landmark EV Technology Project for Fleet Electrification
June 22, 2021

  • Miami-Dade to install one of the largest fleet charging systems in the U.S. with 75 Proterra chargers across three bus depots
  • Miami-Dade’s purchase of 42 Proterra electric transit buses brings its fleet to 75 Proterra buses
  • With 19 megawatt hours of battery storage capacity and nine megawatts of EV charging power, the project demonstrates Proterra’s ability to offer full fleet electrification technology solutions to commercial vehicle customers

Miami – Proterra Inc (NASDAQ: PTRA) (“Proterra” or “the Company”), a leading innovator in commercial vehicle electrification technology, and Miami-Dade County today announced a landmark fleet electrification project with the County acquiring 42 Proterra ZX5+ electric transit buses, featuring a total of 19 megawatt hours of battery storage capacity, along with plans to install 75 Proterra chargers across three bus depots. The first electric buses are slated to be delivered in 2022.

Today’s announcement builds on Miami’s commitment to transportation electrification by expanding its fleet to include an additional 42 buses – bringing the total to 75 electric transit buses from Proterra, one of the largest fleets of 40-foot electric transit buses in the United States. At nine megawatts of power, the project is also one of the largest fleet charging installations in North America.

The partnership demonstrates Proterra’s ability to deliver a comprehensive, full scale deployment of commercial electric vehicle fleets with its EV technology solutions. This includes Proterra’s industry-leading commercial vehicle battery systems, electric transit buses, and fleet charging infrastructure.

“Miami-Dade County has long been a leader in advancing forward-looking clean technology solutions. We are delighted to build on our partnership together and drive the county’s switch to zero-emission, electric transportation with our EV technology,” said Jack Allen, Proterra CEO.

“This is a major step forward in Miami-Dade County’s commitment to incorporate clean, renewable energy to protect our environment and offer better transportation options,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “With these new electric buses, Miami-Dade will lead the way with the largest sustainable transportation fleet in Florida and one of the largest in the nation.”
