Now Miami Dade Transit is receiving the last Articulated NABI 60ft BRT the order was approved last week fleet numbers are 15101-15143 this will help with overcrowded routes and new routes slated to start later this year

Do you know what new routes are in the works? When I was done last month they seem to have crowding issues on most of the main routes.

The routes 836 Express and the Dade Broward Express from the Tri rail stations to the Hospitals in Miami

The MAX routes will probably be full brt or feature a few of these new buses in service

The 21 option order off of the NABI 60ft BRT has been switched over to Newflyer therefore MDT will be recieving The XDE 60ft Xcelsior

Unless MDT has abandonded their bus numbering scheme, they should be 15501-15543. We shall see.

30 Electric buses from either BYD or Newflyer are in the works they have tested the BYD last year and the Newflyer Electric bus a few months back

Miami-Dade Transit will be buying Broward County Transit NABI Artics that they built early but BCT later rejected citing the door as a major delay to Service

Will these artics be for replacements or expansion of the fleet?

30 electric buses! That's a lot and would make them a major pioneer--along with Foothill, King Co Metro, TARC (Louisville), Stanford U, Long Beach and now SEPTA.

Wonder if they need to win a grant in order to do it first. Might be contingent on that, but I hope not.
