7274 and 7280 possibly dead; just saying as Surrey just got 2 2016 XN40 from HTC

You have a habit of saying "possibly" and "probably" whenever you discuss the retirement of these units - can you actually confirm if these units are retired or not? Or are you just basing this entirely in theory? If you cannot actually confirm whether these units are retired or not then wait for confirmation before posting

Side note - can anyone confirm if these units are actually officially retired?

And I think I saw 3 D40LFs at Hamilton. I take it those are dead? They appeared to be on a dead track all by themselves. Next to 8057.

This means end of the cloth seat D60LFs

Good. No more super disgusting seats on those. Vinyl might get hot or cold but at least it isn't a cleaning nightmare.

7274 and 7434 have returned to service since this was posted. In fact, I rode 7274 yesterday.

994 dead, joins 990 as a parts bus

995 preserved (by WVMT, joining 61) and being restored. Should make anyone looking forward to a D40LF preservation happy because it has happened.

997 and 998 haven't been seen out on the road since April, waiting for confirmation of their current status

Sucks to hear about 994 but glad to hear about 995.

Haha, I was the last passenger on 994's last trip then (255 to capilano mall). I'm sad to see these guys go.

End of an era for the WVMT Livery in revenue service and for D40LFs in Vancouver as regular units.

Vancouver was said in terms of the city.

Unless, by extreme chance, one appears on the N19.

Yes, I meant the Municipality of Vancouver, not the region.
