Spotted two brand new black and white Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF buses parked at Cardinal's north yard yesterday numbered 121224, and 121227. They look pretty much the same as 131130-131133 except they are black and white. I wonder if these are replacements for some of the Strathcona Tweedsmeer bus fleet.

I also spotted 6220, which is a Thomas Saf T Liner C2, in Northwest Calgary. Looked like a 2009 or 2010 model year.

Nope!! 121224-121227. Remember, I said these ones were black and white, not in yellow school bus colors. Here are a couple of crappy images of two of them:

First Student yards are easy to find. They are the ones where the buses are falling apart, and the drivers look choked all the time.

I have never seen a bus like this before!!!

They have had that bus since it was new. It was formerly 1309 of Cardinal Coach Lines and used as a School Bus in the usual yellow 'School Bus' livery until it's retirement about 3-4 years ago when it became some sort of activity bus or something.

#2478 has recently been repainted to School Bus Yellow and obviously no longer operating on the Strathcona Tweedsmere school routes.

Nope, sorry. I saw it in the dark the other night.

The only other yard that I know of, is the Blackfoot yard which is on the north side of Glenmore Trail just west of Blackfoot Trail in the south.

There is a fairly large collection of buses in Panorama Hills in the Cardel Place parking lot. There is also a small yard where the new Tuscany C-Train Station is going to be built.

It appears that First Student has purchased a new Thomas C2 numbered 131110. I am certain that it is not this bus:

I have been seeing several of the new C2's on the road this week so far. I don't like the 6 digit numbering system though. By the time I get home from work after spotting one I start questioning what fleet number I saw in the end. The one I saw yesterday afternoon, I believe was 131730 or 130730. I forget what the third digit was. saw 13x734 as well.

True, not sure what number I saw but I thought it ended in 10, but I can't writr it down when I am driving, and it is not a one off like Wilco 1805, which I did see a couple of days ago.

several new C2's are showing up here in the Toronto area as well in the First Student Canada fleet as well. I will have be be on the look out for numbers for you.

I saw a small Chevy/Corbiel with this font running around in Richmond Hill the other day......
