38 has been sold for an R/V conversion in Winkler, and 40 might've been sold as well if it still isn't on spare. Source: Beaver Bus Line employee/MTHA.

I have no idea, I'd either have to ask my BBL contact, or you could ask David. Was definitely early-mid 2012 though!

Nice to see that bus getting rid of the lift and that crappy Pocatec sign!

I like seeing the Pocatec at night (looks amazing), but I hate it in the daytime. Can barely read the sign in daylight... :(

Original post, Peter (note: time and date)

His post (note: time and date):

He typed his reply into the quote, and it confused me for awhile. Of course, if he (or anyone else on the board) quotes my posts from my original text, I don't mind, nor would I complain. But on the other hand, what if I were to do...

Then I would be changing your original quote, and people might be reading another version of what you originally said. It's just a simple typing error that I let him know about, doesn't mean I am treating long-time members like I am superior, or saying they can't quote my posts. I post in the Calgary section often, have I ever tried to make myself look superior? Nope because I'm not, especially since I'm quite clearly a socialist. I've been annoying and been ranting off-topic to the point where my posts get deleted, yes, but I'd never even attempt to try anything to make myself look like the "King of the Transitsphere", that'd get me banned faster than transitboy asking for an interior picture. Now, I believe this was a "Beaver Bus Lines" topic, correct?

So I guess you simply didn't figure out that he made a mistake in that post? Maybe accidently deleting one of the tags!? All I am asking is to be a bit nicer the next time you find a 'mistake'... Please and thanks. It would be much appreciated. I am not trying to personally attack you or anything. Also, If you edit your original post to him, I will edit my posts towards you as well. Oh and please pay your fare, $2.75 . :)

And now back to regular programming..

I actually did pay $2.75 for busfare on my way home tonight from work! Used to skip out a nickel or dime when I was in high school, so I pay an extra quarter or two every now and then, to be fair.

But anywhom, I believe I saw 60 not too long ago, wonder if its still around... the SJR St. James schoolbus runs now always have an Orion V on it lately, I've only seen the Classics in the south end of Winnipeg. RTS is a rare sight (spare) and it lost the Aesys panels too.

Spotted a 10pm run to Selkirk with 8-10 people onboard, that surprised me (thought it'd be less). Has BBL considered its own service to East St. Paul? Then, the RM won't have to worry about funding it, and BBL could start to establish itself as a wider regional connector! Crazy idea, but Winnipeg Transit negotiations with ESP have usually been non-productive with the RM not willing to pay its share. Plus I know alot of people there that could and would use the service if possible.

Sigh. Some people never learn...

I'd never even attempt to try anything to make myself look like the "King of the Transitsphere", that'd get me banned faster than transitboy asking for an interior picture.

Please do not comment on that which you know nothing about. "transit boy" was NOT banned for asking for interior pictures.

"Any posts with high conflict or complaints are subject to deletion by the administration." - http://cptdb.ca/conditions/

Can we just delete all these posts and start fresh? I'll start thinking twice before I talk about transitboy, especially since I knew the original reason for why he got banned, although I still made that metaphor... (I should really sleep before I visit the internet after work....)

Peter - if you read this before deletion - post is edited.

Getting off the bus at Polo Park, I spotted a 40-foot bus in the distance. Upon walking closer in the slush, I found out that there was an Orion V, completely unoccupied, parked at the mall! :D also thanks to the snow, got excellent pictures (as with the 2012 D40LFR in another thread)

Upon later travel on Route 160 to Osborne Village, I saw 70 and another Orion V at the Fort Garry Hotel working charter services!

'twas a good day to be a transit fanner. :P

I heard all BBL GM fishbowls are now retired. (Late Dec.2012)

I've updated the Wiki for Beaver Bus Lines from a roster supplied by BBL last week. The roster was dated 17 December 2012. All retired buses are marked with a grey background. None of the fishbowls are still in service.

There goes the last of the Orion I's in Manitoba. Gonna miss those ones.

Agreed, it was nice to see a bus that wasn't New Flyer in this city :P
