Dec 20 did Wonderlic. Jan 26 got offer.  submitted docs and job shadowing a week later. Did Medical Mar 21. Got Police check in mail on Mar 24. . Got MTO letter on April 8.

Gosh! I was hoping to be in that May 31st training! Cleared my medical 2 weeks ago and got a letter from the MTO requesting more information and had to send them the same documents Telus Health was waiting for (CPAP compliance letter). Telus Health confirmed they sent everything and emailed me everything they sent them. Ministry said they didn't receive it. Frustrating. Now its another 15 days waiting for MTO. My recruiter emailed me yesterday and asked if I got anything from MTO yet. I think she was hoping I could get into training sooner rather than later. What a gongshow!

Really? Usually they do within a week. Could be super busy. Do you check the status updates on your profile?

When I trained last year for bus, there was 8 of us on a Monday, 2 per instructor, 2 instructors per classroom. There was a new group training on the Wed. From what I remember it was like that for a while, 2 new groups each week

Not sure how big classes are for streetcar, but for bus it could be as large as 10-12 people and you get one instructor for 2 students. You get a training partner and usually same instructor for your actual driving.

Do they contact you for training by name or by applications date?

How would it be fair to go by name? People with names at the end of the alphabet would get screwed.

Telus health sends it to mto then they clear it with ttc and then sends you a copy. You don’t have to send them that copy.

I Submitted my Police check and Medical clearance last week. Is anyone able to tell me how long they waited for the documentation appt and reference check.

After 6 weeks my recruiter has finally responded. She said she never received my drivers license, transcripts, references and need to send it again…. What a joke.
