LRT
Not too crazy about the livery, to be honest it looks like they bought a bunch of used buses off of ETS and patched on their own logos... Oh well it's a start.

Apparently destination signs aren't working yet?! and they weren't showing on trackers either. ETS had enough time you would have thought to get things like that sorted out! 6950 was on the first run into Edmonton. Bonus: Beaumont Transit Services 948 departing Mill Woods TC over 15 years ago. It looks like 6950's windows can't open so I assume it has A/C?

Yes, that's definitely an HVAC up there. I think these buses come standard with air conditioning now. I could be wrong... M. Parsons
Beaumont Transit resumes service on August 23, 2021, running to Heritage Valley as an interim measure until they eventually move to Mill Woods Transit Centre. I believe the contractor is now PWT, although, I cannot confirm that 100%. On Demand is being investigated for local service.

IIRC those buses are owned by the City of Beaumont, so even if the operators end up being PWT contract drivers rather than ETS employees it will still end up being the same buses. It will be interesting, however, to see where the buses end up as right now they are allegedly stored and maintained through ETS.
M. Parsons
Beaumont 6950 arriving at Heritage Valley this morning. It doesn't look like the Trapeze Smart Bus equipment is installed, nor an ETS farebox. There is an Arc reader installed.

They've been exercised here and there. All 3 took a trip with the Spruce Grove units to Andrews for shield installation, and I would occasionally see one moving around Centennial. Shield installation happened before Beaumont tendered for a contractor, so, I'm not sure if ETS ended up pulling those out as well before PWT took over the operation. MTL66
The Beaumont buses are now parked inside the PWT Garage near Millgate Terminal. 6950 and 6951 were in service and 6952 was parked inside the garage.

So they are no longer going to show up in Transit55 now?

The Beaumont buses were stored at the PWTransit site around Roper Road since January. PWT will store and maintain the buses. ETS took their fareboxes out.
