DRT:

Pre-Amalgamation Whitby Transit 9719 Is a 1997 Champion SoLo

Post-Amalgamation: 8401 Which is a 2007 NFI D40LF

Oshawa Transit Commission (now Durham Region Transit's Raleigh division) got its first low-floor buses, two 2001 NovaBus LFSes (now DRT 8151-8152). They continue to be DRT's oldest low-floor vehicles in its conventional fleet, and the first 40-foot low-floor buses (as the above-mentioned Champion SoLo was, in fact, a 30-foot bus, but was retired within a year of the DRT amalgamation). Whitby's first 40-foot low-floors were 2004 LFSes (now DRT 8324-8329).

As for post-amalgamation, 8401 might, in fact, be beaten by 8172-8173 for the reasons described on their wiki page. 8171 was also bought by DRT directly and all three of the LFS buses predate the first D40LFs by a year.

October 2001 - Units 500-503, which are 2001 Nova LFS: Every single Codiac Transpo bus from this point on would be an LFS. Oddly, the switch to low floors was primarily part of a push to make the fleet more accessible, yet these four units don't accommodate wheelchairs, nor do they have a ramp. We also received our two final high-floors/RTS (430 and 450) that same year.

For Sudbury Ontario. That would have to be the 1995 Newflyer D40LF then after that came the 1997 Nova bus LFS then it was the 1998 Orion iv. (photos not taken by me but belong to their respected owners)
