A violent accident involving a bus from the Société de transport de Montreal (STM) has 13 injured on Saturday morning in Montreal East.

The life of any of them isn't in danger, however, have advised the authorities.

The sheer occurred around 8 am 15, on Sherbrooke Street East, a few hundred meters from the Shell refinery in Montreal East.

For reasons still unknown, the bus driver veered off its lane in the middle of a straight line, as he headed westbound. The truck then left the roadway to be found in the grass beside the road.

The bus has severed a pole of Hydro-Quebec to go before finishing up against the post below.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident.

The 13 injured were mostly women. A child is also among the victims.

Also injured in the accident, the driver of the STM could have been unwell or had fallen asleep at the wheel. That at least two hypotheses that were advanced by the police at the scene of the accident.

Sherbrooke Street East was closed in both directions between avenues Gamble and Durocher, the time to secure the scene.

If you guys remember how bad 28-021 got damaged in the collision (half of the entire bus got sliced by a flatbed trailer) with the frame ripped apart and got repaired recently, then this bus can be repaired too. Don't expect to see it anytime soon though.

Too bad it didn't stay retired!

Lol, well it was just the front structure that has been damaged. If you get anything less severe than what 28-021 got, you know they will repair it no matter what! :P
