XE40s huh? Why not, cause NICE bus is buying these too. And probably MTA and Bee Lines too.

Len90
Anyone know why the last batch of D4500s that went to Academy (212xx) were not solid grey? They are white with the chrome panels and look as if they were originally supposed to go to someone else.

They are white with the chrome panels and look as if they were originally supposed to go to someone else. This is what is on the Wiki: https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/New_Jersey_Transit_21001-21367 Quote Academy Bus was originally slated to receive buses 21277-21334, and in fact had some units delivered in silversides with white paint (including the rear upper panel), but at some point NJT cut Academy's allocation and claimed the remaining buses for themselves. Due to the difference in the changeover point from Academy to NJT between the Winnipeg and Pembina assembly plants, Academy has 21277-21300 and 21303-21306. New Jersey Transit has 21301-21302 and 21307-21334. The first of the NJT buses from this part of the order began running in revenue out of Oradell Garage on October 15, 2021. Academy is scheduled to get some of the 2022 cruiser allocation to make up for the difference.

I think it was because the additional 33 buses were added to the contract and those 33 are suppose to go to NJT but not sure? Also created that weird cutoff point where 21301-21302 are NJT, 21303-21306 are Academy, and 21307 and up are NJT.

DCTransitFilms
A fire broke out at the retired NJT bus lot in North Bergan, destroying at least six buses. All buses have been retired from revenue service. No injuries. Seems the buses involved are the 2003 MCI D400Ns (7802-7805) as 7802 and 7804 were seen in pictures, and the 2002 Nova Bus RTS-06 HEVs (4001-4003). https://abc7ny.com/nj-transit-bus-fire-north-bergen-new-jersey/11773944/?ex_cid=TA_WABC_TW&taid=626075add7fd76000157422a&utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+New+Content+(Feed)&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=twitter

DCTransitFilms
New Jersey Transit will be taking over Routes 10, 22, 23, and 119 from Coach USA. Route 10 will be at Greenville, 119 will be at Meadowlands, and I’m not sure who’s doing the 22/23 yet likely Meadowlands too. In response, the 126 will be moved to Meadowlands from Greenville full time and Route 84 will be moved to Coach USA. I’m not sure if 86 and 89 are also moving per the rumors I heard from the NYC Forums. https://www.njtransit.com/service-advisory/1523711
DCTransitFilms
Couple NABI and Route shifts going on at the moment: Route 22, 23, and 119 are out of Meadowlands, Route 10 is out of Greenville. However Routes 22 and 119 has a few Greenville trips and Route 10 has a few Meadowlands trips. Route 84 is ONE Bus now NABIs 6046-6056 are going to Meadowlands NABI 6205 is now with Salem County Transit Hearing rumors some NABIs in the 6189-6196 range will either be going to Orange or Hilton. 6197-6204 will be split between Washington Township and Egg Harbor I'm hearing. Not sure where 6040-6045 are yet though those are likely heading to Meadowlands.
