Also, why did Coach Canada decide to suddenly stop buying new coaches for Safeway? I mean Safeway is a large tour operator and if they can pay the money to charter new coaches, then wouldn't Coach Canada want to do so?

In an event of a break down in the US, the Coach Canada driver can simply get a Coach USA owned bus and continue the trip. Whereas the other companies, a replacement bus has to come from their respective garage which may result Safeway running behind on their Tour because the wait for a replacement bus and the other companies to find someone else to do the trip while the replacement bus is on its way.

 

Fallsview Casino runs are double runs which the total mileage for the day is 650 - 700 km a day! 650 - 700 km x 365 days x 4 years = Ridiculous maintenance costs and frequent Schedule 4 inspections. Not to mention a driver does experience fatigue which is why Coach Canada introduced their modified HOS. Safeway's Casino Service today is running at its worse with a lower tip for the driver compared to 5 years ago and majority of the driver's refuse to do Safeway Casino Service and even the US Tour start runs. Great Canadian Coaches is now experiencing this with their drivers and soon the other companies will be experiencing driver's issues with Safeway Tours. Coach Canada has made money with other Tour Clients, they don't need Safeway Tours anymore!

This. I find doing sched 4's annoying at times especially when short buses. It's amazing how fast a bus can do 7500 miles or 30 days fly by fast.

Most of their newer buses I see on the road look to be stainless or aluminum alcoa rims (especially anything that is on, or was on the safeway contract). Maybe they are just changing their fleet slowly to match as needed? Would be interested to know more about this my self.

That coach has some refurb work done to it

stagecoach sells North American division, stagecoach from my memory has a huge chunk of ownership with trentway-Wagner for coach Canada, I’m not sure of the future but people I know who work for them have said it’s been on the decline in terms of work load for quite some time. 

Hopefully this doesn’t mean the end and trentway-Wagner can still run solo

First is actually trying but they can't find a buyer.

Based on some companies in the US going under after being owned by Private Equity Firms, I don't think they will flip it, they will kill it lol

If the Private Equity Firm wants to sell Coach Canada/USA, they can sell bits and pieces to smaller operators who are looking to expand.

If there going to sell it off it pieces(routes) I can see Greyhound buying the  Ottawa<>Montreal<>Kingston/Toronto route, that'll give them the Ottawa><Montreal<>Kingston/Toronto<>Ottawa triangle corridor one of the most money making routes?

The 2012 TD925 buses have been undergoing a refurbishment, which involves repainting the buses.

The Megabus name and logos have been reapplied (as seen in the photo below, taken May 19, 2019), just not the Megabus Man. He is not present on any of the J4500s that have recently been put into Megabus service, so they are likely doing a brand refresh that does not include Megabus Man on the livery.

I am not gonna bother start a Coach USA thread since Coach Canada and Coach USA are under common ownership.
