coordinator47
#9535 is up next http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item5d44d3d3c2 The head has been removed and the cylinders look pretty rusty. Also judging by the amount of grime and moss on the outside of the bus I'd say its been sitting a while. According to OBA only 9530 31 34 show to have been in service in recent times. According to the SIP, it shows there to be 7 members of this class in service, yet all the Gillig Phantom's that were suppose to have been retired have dropped off as well. That leaves 9525 29 32 33 36 as of yet unaccounted for. 9536 is still in service.

anonymous guy
#9533... http://www.ebay.com/...943673&pt=Buses They must have ran out of Black paint Isn't that what they used to do with retired ST coaches? I'd think it would be much less labor intensive to tear off the stickers than to repaint the entire lower half of the coach black with the decals still intact (!) busdude.com
Pierce always painted out their retired ST coaches, Metro and CT I don't think did. I have pictures of Retired and Sold ST coaches with the livery intact (sans logos). The decals themselves have been on there for years and are probably not easy to scrape off. I'm sure its easier just to spray over the whole lot and call it good. Who bought the one that's in B.C. and where's it at?

Blue Bus Fan
Looks like Sound transit is doing a survey to help with the Long-Range Plan: http://soundtransit.publicinvolvement.net.
Blue Bus Fan
Some questions about the University link: 1) Will buses travel to University of Washington Station via the tunnel? 2) Will they operate two or three car trains when University link opens? 3) What will the frequencies be when it opens? Random questions: 1) Have they started construction of the North gate link yet? 2) Has there been any recent talk about extended light rail to Federal way? New update when they aspect the University link to open some time in August or September. Atomic Taco
1) Will buses travel to University of Washington Station via the tunnel? Are you referring to the newly dug tunnels or the existing DSTT? The new tunnels are train only. The DSTT will remain joint ops until U-Link's headways make joint ops unfeasable.2) Will they operate two or three car trains when University link opens?Initially two but up to four as demand increases.3) What will the frequencies be when it opens? Not decided yet. Initially frequencies will still allow for joint ops in the DSTT. It's not decided which routes, if any, will initially move up to the surface.1) Have they started construction of the North gate link yet? http://www.soundtran...-Northgate#tab4 2) Has there been any recent talk about extended light rail to Federal way? http://www.soundtran...-Link-Extension
Millennium2002
Awesome Cheese, it'd help if you could do some research on your own before asking questions that others may find redundant. Thanks!
