I was reading the service changes for January 3rd and it fails to mention the absorption of routes 27 and 901. Is that still happening and will the ARBOC they used on route 901 be assigned elsewhere like the other BusPlus/Flex routes once the VMC Classic buses take over the route?

Breaking news.

nova wins the contract for the all electric buses the contract was Awarded April 27.

6 this year on top of the hybrid order.

I'm quoting this from the electric bus pilot thread since it is relevant to my post:

In addition to the 11 Nova LFS electric buses ordered for February 2023 delivery, GRT has ordered 29 LFS hybrid buses as per the council reports on pages 56-63. It was a late addition to the agenda as the region only received funding approval on April 21.

Found an Instagram photo of 793 surrounded by gen4 Novas including what appears to be 22001 and 22026, so it looks like 793 is/was still around as of at least 2020. Does anybody know if there are plans for this unit’s restoration or is it still more-or-less in storage?

There has been plans to restore it since it retired. But all it's really been doing, it's just hopping around the yard.
