With all the recent transfers of the Nova's from VTC to HTC, is HTC getting some big service improvements that is not announced?

Not necessarily, VTC is probably needing to get rid of them to have room for the 2021 artics. HTC has also been sending XN40s to STC as noted above, so the redistribution is spread a bit more evenly

So no one post TransLink service change link here anymore?

April change:
https://www.translink.ca/schedules-and-maps/service-changes

New route:
https://infomaps.translink.ca/Public_Timetables/186/tt226.pdf

Seems like TransLink generate schedule for school specials now. Would they appear in the printed schedule one day?
https://infomaps.translink.ca/Public_Timetables/186/tt840.pdf
https://infomaps.translink.ca/Public_Timetables/186/tt863.pdf

But they seems to forget about the Night Bus and Rapid Buses.... Or anyone can find the correct link to them?

Also, the Northshore schedule is now 49 pages. I guess they're no longer design the schedule for printing and would rather print it with 3 blank pages...

Weird... I'm pretty sure I tried them before.. maybe I used R1 instead of r1?

Still can't find them for the last sheet (182) though

It's definitely case sensitive. ttr1.pdf works, but ttR1.pdf goes to a 404 page.

Round 2 of ghost 403 shuttles is happening evenings this week and weeknights until June 5.

The evening shuttles this week only use 2 artics; one trip northbound somehow lasted 20 minutes (this was 6:50pm)

Quote

Canada Line Single Tracking beginning Apr 26 to facilitate "Capstan Station" construction.
Single tracking from Bridgeport Station to Richmond–Brighouse Station, will temporarily reduce train frequency as follows:

April 26 to April 29 from 6 p.m. to midnight: 10 minute extra wait time on average.
April 30 to June 5 ON WEEKENDS ONLY – From start of service until 9 p.m. Saturdays and from start of service until 7 p.m. Sundays:

• Waterfront to YVR–Airport: extra 3 minute wait
• Bridgeport to Richmond–Brighouse: extra 13 minute wait

A bus bridge will operate between Bridgeport Station and Richmond–Brighouse Station as follows:

• Weeknights: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. (every 15 minutes)
• Weekends: (up to every 10 minutes)
• Saturdays: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sundays: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• The extra buses will stop at each Richmond branch station (Lansdowne, Aberdeen and Richmond–Brighouse).
• The extra buses will depart from Bay 3 at Bridgeport Station and Bay 1 at Richmond–Brighouse Station.

We thank our customers and neighbours for their patience while this necessary work takes place.

For the June sheet, there is a new route 900 Bike Bus... Not sure what that is?

No stop or schedule information yet.

Completely wild speculation, but it could be TransLink taking over the Massey shuttle?

Wouldn't that mean the 323 is FTN or at least extremely close to?

Should be FTN by now, even the 240 falls short by a few trips and still qualifies as FTN

Route 2 Mcdonald will be routed back to Burrard Station as the station upgrades for that station were canceled. Internal source.

Whatever, I'll just do it because I know people

900 Bike Bus

-Same stops and route as 620

-Hourly

-Non-modified 40ft bus; just bring bikes inside bus

-Summer Seasonal

-May expand to other routes or be a year round thing. Just a trial at this point.

Big reaction coming in from island cyclists looking to do a day of biking up here

  • Thanks 1

I know people as well

A bus dedicated for bikes is much needed during the summer months until we ever actually do get a Massey replacement with a bike lane, lots of bikes coming off the boats plus all the bikes picked up at Ladner.

Even with bike lanes, the ferries a very long way out of town.

Too bad we can't modify a bus as last time Translink Did that it caused issues.
