BCT-3122-D800-10240
A rare vehicle in the Calgary HandiBus fleet, a Sprinter. I believe are only 2 or 3 of these in the fleet.
Paratransit Fellow
If I recall correctly they are actually "frieghtliner" sprinters. Seems they were brought up from the USA about a year before sprinters became released in Canada.
Board Admin A. Wong Posted October 8, 2010 Board Admin Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 Yeah, that one has the Freightliner badge on it. Relatively rare up here, mostly found on FedEx ones.

School Bus 101
http://globalnews.ca/news/1698004/calgary-handibus-to-cease-bus-operations-in-2015/ Calgary HandiBus says it will have to stop operating its bus fleet. The company sent out a letter to employees on Thursday, informing them that an indepedant study recently found their funding model is no longer sustainable. Calgary HandiBus is one of four service providers that Access Calgary, a division of Calgary Transit, uses to provide trips for Calgarians with disabilities. HandiBus hasn’t determined a specific date when it will stop operating its buses, but says it will likely be sometime in 2015.
1604
http://www.calgarytransit.com//news/calgary-handibus The Herald has a good article on this, too: http://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/calgary-handibus-to-cease-operations-in-2015
1604
Effective Oct. 13, 2015, Access Calgary will change its name to Calgary Transit Access. This is in response to feedback from customers and other stakeholders regarding confusion about who our transportation service providers are and who is responsible for the oversight of the service. Customers will start seeing our clean visual identity taking shape in the form of vehicle decals, driver identification, print and web materials, and signage. The refreshed branding helps streamline four starkly different looks from our service providers (Checker cabs, Care Calgary, Southland Transportation and Calgary Transit Access (formerly Handibus). Our vehicles will share a common look so customers can identify the vehicle easily and have confidence in the great service we provide every day. While our Calgary Transit Access look and name is new, Calgarians can trust that we will continue delivering the same safe, responsive and courteous public transportation service our customers rely on. http://www.calgarytransit.com/calgary-transit-access
BCT-3122-D800-10240
Here is a shot of #391 taken about a month ago: Also, at this time, I would like to start tracking all of the HandiBus units whether or not they are in the new livery or not. Please state what type of chassis, model as well. Also, I have noticed that they have changed all the plates on the rear of them from the one letter and 5 digit series to the same style CT buses use. And you might as well try and get as many photos of them as you can, especially the ones still in the HandiBus livery before they vanish!
LRT
I seen Southland providing service the other day for "Hand Bus" Is Southland still providing service?
BCT-3122-D800-10240
I seen Southland providing service the other day for "Hand Bus" Is Southland still providing service? Southland is still doing contract work for Access Calgary to my knowledge. I am not sure how all this is going to evolve.
BCT-3122-D800-10240
I went by the HandiBus yard earlier tonight with a friend and could not see any units in the new livery, but the building has been updated with the new "Calgary Transit Access" branding as seen on the image of 391. BCT-3122-D800-10240
I have seen 331 and 333 which appear to be the same as #342 in the earlier above post. Anyone else got any spottings? I Would like to work on a section in the Calgary Transit section for these buses since they are now part of the CT fleet. BCT-3122-D800-10240
I couldn't get a number as the bus was too far away, but it was in the new Calgary Transit Access livery as shown in the above image of #391. It was one of the buses just like #391, so it very well could have been that bus!

B.Lorfing
Okay thanks. Ya it has zero markings on it except that fleet number not even the CT logo that lets them use the Bus Lanes.
