Yeah, likely an announcement will be made soon. But Metro REALLY needs to go with another vendor. This fleet is getting too boring. Some El Dorados buses would be a nice change. or Nova. DCTransitFilms
Here is another summary I got for today. Major changes: Montgomery is getting the XD60s 5500-5524? I'm still not 100% sure if its 5500-5522 or there's more units past 5522. In exchange, Shepherd Parkway now has DE60LFAs 5431-5442 as of right now. I'm not sure if any other units moved there but I'm hearing Montgomery still has some DE60LFAs but not sure which numbers Also, Montgomery are giving 5464-5467 to Bladensburg I think. 5460 is still with Montgomery as its on the 70 earlier today. Shepherd Parkway gave up 5485-5492 and those are now at Bladensburg. Four Mile Run now has D40LFRs 6140-6145. Not sure why but I think its just a reserve fleet. A bunch of the D40LFRs aren't out right now A lot of other changes happen which are listed down below. All buses are still not plotted so this is just on base assumption: 7087-7095, 7180-7202 from West Ox to Andrews 6541-6563 from Shepherd Parkway to Western 6529-6540 to Western 3059-3062, 6356-6377 from Cinder Bed to Shepherd Parkway 3766-3770, 6580-6609 from West Ox to Shepherd Parkway 3069, 3070 from Western to Shepherd Parkway 6492-6518, 7075 from Western to Andrews 7076-7086 from Bladensburg to Andrews 7061-7069 from Montgomery to Landover 7070-7074 from Western to Landover 7232-7235 from Andrews to Montgomery In addition, Andrews garage gains the 96 full time and has a few X9 trips now. Shepherd Parkway is doing the V7 and Southern Avenue is doing the X3 school trip.

Last XD60 should be #5542.

Originally everyone thought it was 10 in 2020 and 32 in 2021 but it fooled everyone. I don't know tbh all I know is the highest unit that I know of is 5524 at Montgomery right now. Idk if theres anything higher yet. Update: it seems we are getting up to 5541 per the CPTDB wiki. VINs are 5FYD8YU12MC074651 and up thanks to Stalwart23. I know that Southern Ave and Western can't, but who else are not ready for Artic buses? Yeah, it's the usual wait and see game. If I'm able to, I'm going to go fanning in D.C. this weekend. I think it is also safe to say that ALL Orion VII OG CNGs (including the 3000s) are finally retired. No one has reported seeing any in several weeks.

Tics can only be housed at Northern, Shepherd Parkway, Montgomery, Bladensburg, and Andrews. I believe Cinder Bed too but I'm not sure. The Orion VII CNGs are still out as 3007 was out yesterday
