With the rebranding of Mississauga Transit to MiWay, does this constitute a new page to be created as was done with for example the STCUQ becoming the RTC or should the page be renamed?

This will be an interesting one. As far as the city is concerned, by by-law, the transit system is still called Mississauga Transit. MiWay is simply the brand name for the service. I don't know just how do go about this...

Hmm, maybe you guys could go for a redirect to the Mississauga Transit for anyone who types in MiWay into the Wiki Search Box and/or maybe you could rename the page to "Mississauga Transit/MiWay".

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority brands itself as "Metro" but the legal name of the entity (and the wiki page) is still LACMTA; Mississauga Transit/MiWay seems to be quite similar.

Definitely redirect MiWAY (and Mi Way, and other variations of spelling) to the current Mississauga Transit page. The current page for now should be left as Mississauga Transit, or possibly renamed to "Mississauga Transit (MiWAY)" until the legal name (according to City Hall as Orion VIII stated) changes.

In terms of all the sub-pages, the new 2010 bus orders should probably be named as "MiWAY 1001-1020", "MiWAY 1031-1045" and "MiWAY 1051-1072" as that's what they are promoted as belonging to (same as Viva 5101-5160 etc. and Züm 1050-1074) - the remaining Mississauga Transit pages should ultimately stay as MT unless the buses are reliveried/rebranded as MiWAY.

If it's a branding thing then I guess we can follow what we did with CIT Laurentides (branded SURF) where we mention the branding in the introduction. Something like: Mississauga Transit, branded MiWay since October 4, 2010...
