It's very common in travel and transportation field to have fare black outs during peak travel periods. Why discount fares when you know there will be lots of people travelling anyway, it maximises revenue & profit.Makes alot of sense, And Christmas along with all other holidays/long weekends is always blackouts for a certain period! Greyhound spokesman Timothy Stokes said the bus was carrying 42 passengers. He said just one person was hurt. He said the bus was on a trip from Vancouver to Prince George when the accident happened shortly before 1 a.m. near Logan Lake. Red Deer isn't that busy of a stop, the buses travel between Calgary and Edmonton with Red Deer about half way through the route.
