ENGINE_4
Some CFD Apparatus movements... - #1 Aerial is (A0105) - 2005 Spartan Gladiator Evolution / Smeal aerial (-/-/105'). This truck will be staying at 1. (Q0811) was re-numbered and deployed as #27 Quint which runs out of #22 Station. - **#8 Aerial (Quint) & **#8 Bush Buggy have be shuffled up to #29 Station - Just an interesting fact.. #8's Bush Buggy (#29 now) and #18's Bush Buggy are both a 2000 Ford F-450 (200/CAFS) I personally did not know that CFD had two identical trucks.. - The West District chief is now in Station #8, North DC is in #31 - **#33 Rescue (R0307) has been redeployed as #8 Rescue - #21 Rescue (R0411) has been redeployed back to #17 Station as Rescue #17 - An interesting fact with the Rescue's shop numbering. Some Rescue are numbered the same with the exception of the years..**#32's Rescue (R0407) & **#17's (R0411) ...#8's Rescue (R0307) & #26's Rescue (R0311) - There is an Engine back in #21 Station. It is #27's Engine ( E3710) - #25 Station's Hazmat Recovery unit is now Stationed at #16 - #25 Station will not be getting the 2004 Spartan Gladiator/Smeal platform back, they will keep there current 2000 E-One Engine. - Most Quints in Calgary run as basic Aerials now (2 Firefighters on a Aerial) With the exception of #24 & #27 & #30??? - 2 of at least 8 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter High Roof are at the CFD shops now. - And the 167' Bronto has not returned to the city as of yet... ** Means these trucks are still sporting the numbers of the last Fire Stations they were assigned to. BCT-3122-D800-10240
Spotted several former CFD rigs up at the Michener Allen auction yard at the north end of Barlow Trail N.E. They are parked out on display at the south west fenced area. This was about a week ago, so I do not know if they are still there currently. I have not seen this thing in operation in quite some time, so it was nice to see it alive again.

I would think everyone has to get used to and or re-trained on the truck, as it has been gone for far to long. At least now CFD has another Aerial in the fleet. It should be interesting to see where the 100' Smeal platform goes to now

ENGINE_4
Did it go out for rebuild? Why was it out of service for a long while? Don't quote me 100%, but I believe they actual Bronto Arm assembly failed. No one got hurt or anything. But you could not extent they arm up or out. I do know that the Bronto Skylift has been plagued with electrical problems since the Calgary Fire Department has had it. The truck even caught fire once when it was being towed away tot the maintenance shop!!!

This Station is at 12920 Symons Valley Road N.W P.S, CFD is pretty far behind in up-dating there website P.P.S, hopefully CFD will move Tender #35 to this Station and maybe even add an AHS medic

ENGINE_4
I have only seen at Station #25, I've heard it on the air a few times - #25 Tender cross staffs it. I do believe it is just a stand-by/special event truck for the CFD right now
