BCT-3122-D800-10240
Decided this should be a seperate topic from the "Calgary Emergency Services" thread. Spotted this big Sterling Pumper Rig awhile back but was unable to catch any images of it until this last weekend when she showed up at an incident in the parking lot of at Spruce Meadows this past Sunday. http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990978360/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990977636/ Also, earlier this past Sunday, I stumbled on an emergency scene at the Mayfair Place Apartment complex. Apparently a new transformer had been installed for this building and when they turned it on, it blew up while frying many of people's appliances and such in their apartments. Everyone was evacuated and as of yesterdays newspaper, they were still not allowed back in. Here are some images of the equipment I found at the scene: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990372327/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990372213/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990372085/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990977968/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990371859/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990371473/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990977110/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/42258155@N04/4990371035/

mackem87
I could be wrong but if these are quints Im pretty sure at least one of them is in service at Station 21. Caught a glimpse of it this morning as it went by. Main reason I think its one of the new trucks, it had the white and gold reflective stripes along the sides and the chevron covered directional sign on the back of the aerial deck. The old pierce 21, just had the white stripes and no chevrons on the ladder base. Yup,the old Pierce quint appeared on global news tonight running out of 12.So guess 21 has one of the new trucks

ENGINE_4
BCT-3122-D800-10240 would you happen to know if that truck is still infact running as Engine #11?? CFD seems to take some time in re-numbering there apparatus And on a side note CFD is supposed to be ordering new District Chief vans very shortly, I do believe they are ordering ones similar to there current Haz-Tech & Investigation Dodge Cargo Vans. CFD is also getting a new Mobile Command Post I think from SVI? that should take roughly 5-7 months to deliver i would think
