Looks like the photos were taken in 2007, so 12 years ago they might have been worth that much.

Hopefully. I saw the owner of Milton Transit 9901 wanted $31,000 and a member on this board was negotiating the price with him. Talks concluded and I believe a company in Newfoundland purchased the bus.

Yeah, an airport in Goose Bay.

As for the buses in NYC, I highly doubt that the buses are still for sale, as the MTA wouldn't keep those buses for *cough* 12 years *cough*.

Are you sure it's the MTA selling them?

No, there not. Someone else is, but one can see some other MTA RTS's in the photo. I'm assuming that is the dead area of a garage.

Or the seller of these buses owns more than those VI's. Wouldn't be surprised.

It was used for ETS's Disabled Adult Transit Service (DATS). They only had 7 of that particular model so that is a relatively rare cutaway.

Orchard probably bought it to shuttle their seasonal picking crews around. They’re expensive to maintain compared to more utilitarian school buses, which can fit more men to boot. I reckon he found that out the hard way.

What I believe is a blueberry farm in Richmond, BC has an old MCI coach they use to shuttle a large number of workers.

Thanks. That model is actually pretty rare in Canada but quite common stateside.

Ex-NYCTA Leyland double decker on the other side of the continent and across the northern border. Still configured as a passenger bus with its roof intact.

That would look good with a repaint back into the two tone NYCTA colours.

Are we sure this is the NYCMTA one ??  the windshield is completely different unless it got into a wreck

Read this (from the description)

This bus was build for the New York Market and originally used in Manhattan and the Bronx. Thereafter by Grayline San Francisco, CA, and Grayline Victoria BC.

M-B 0 309 minibus from 1972, looks like it might still be semi intact from transit use too given the livery is on:

Anyone aware of how this may have been used? Fixed-route, demand-response? I'm not seeing any clear passenger entry door on the side so maybe the front door just has steps??

Can't figure out who the original owner was so I have no idea how it was used. However, this photo shows how passengers enter:
