Done. Also we like to discourage photos of accidents. Sometimes transit agencies have an issue with it and we want to maintain a positive image for the board and wiki.

Thanks for the explanation, ADB. Sure, I completely understand that accident photos would not be appropriate here.

This accident, however, was a freak occurrence where an overhead sign came down and smashed the front of the bus during a contruction crew manuever late at night. Surprisingly, nobody was killed and it turned out that the one person seriously injured was released from the hospital quickly. The rest of the injuries were minor in nature. And it was no fault of the bus driver or the transit agency. That was the reason I thought it may be okay to post at first. A friend sent me the photo the night of the accident but now I see that he got it from news agency shots so it's obviously copyrighted.

I was under the impression that this was a thread for members to request that their own images be deleted, not those of other members. Is this incorrect?

Yes. It should really be in the Photos sub-thread, but it does violate the "objects in the way" part of the naming conventions.

I'd say delete it as there are other chances to get a photo of it. I have the exact same photo but with better lighting but I did not upload it because there is something blocking the front of the train. And the point of a photo is pretty much see the detail of the vehicle.

I would have to agree, many people see photos on the Wiki as a huge competition on who gets the first photo of the vehicle and how fast they can post that photo, regardless of quality. This is completely contradictory to the popular quote "Quality over quantity".

Yes. It should really be in the Photos sub-thread, but it does violate the "objects in the way" part of the naming conventions.

Although I feel like deleting it would be sort of "harsh", I suggest just leaving it up for grabs when a better photo surfaces.
