OC Transpo 8238 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Does anybody know where I can get the Operator's Manual for the 2004 Orion V Suburban bus Manual (Go Transit Configuration)? I need it for tomorrow or this Tuesday... Thanks! I can help you with '93 Transit. Not much changes in those usually.
Megabus Rider Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I can help you with '93 Transit. Not much changes in those usually. I downloaded the 97 Orion V Transit Bus 40 ft and 30 ft (configured for Washington DC) but when I saw the illustration of the dashboard, I notice it was different from Go Transit's 04 Orion V Suburban Coach and the the left hand side controls are also different from Go Transit's. I am using a Orion V Suburban for my Z endorsement test so I want to familiarize my self with the cockpit controls and displays. Thanks anyways!

There's been rumours about Orion working on an artic for years, even before they recieved that Mercedes unit. Nothing tangible has ever seen the light of day of it. Dan

The artic was originally designated the Orion VIII, but the project has been pushed back several times. The new plans call for the VIII to be the VII's replacement, and the IX artic will follow

TheAverageJoe Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 I have to ask for a source of this fact, as nothing has been released by Diamler.... Wonder if this will have to do with Orion delaying their new website
Dante Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 I have to ask for a source of this fact, as nothing has been released by Diamler.... The source is Daimler. I know a couple of their executives.

Dante Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 so, its still hearsay..... Not at all. They are executives, so they know what's going on. I was told about both the NG and 3G long before they went public with those projects. Hearsay is 3rd party. My info comes straight from the source.

Dante Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Well, it is what it is then right? I guess you will just have to wait and see for yourself.

RailBus63 Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 Any idea as to when is the Orion bus new website is launch? The banner on the website still says 'January 2012' but nothing yet.
MVTArider Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Now it says March 2012. I hope it's ready by the time they introduce the Orion XI
MaT Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Now it says March 2012. I hope it's ready by the time they introduce the Orion XI The Orion what??
C. Chau Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 The Orion what?? Orion 9. "XI" is Roman numeral for "9".
Neoupa2002 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Orion 9. "XI" is Roman numeral for "9". XI is 11, IX is 9.
Cimon8000 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Orion "IX", don't get me laugh on that............focus on improving their crap now first before launching new products please..........."please"...........and fix the crappy website first............ good luck on running the business with a "few" order.........a company that has no future if it continues to run like this..............
MVTArider Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 For the record I did mean 11, just picking on the sluggish pace of the website update. IIRC they've had the same basic webpage design now since about the time the VII NG was introduced.
