septa105R5/seClip9 Posted July 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2015 It's been reported from PTV and PMATS Transit Fan page that all SEPTA's NABI 416 have been retired from Revenue Service as of July 6 or 7, 2015. This marks the end of 40ft high floor buses that SEPTA uses in almost of its service areas. The only NABI 416 that remains with SEPTA are two converted buses for Mobile Education Buses to educate riders on NPT (New Payment Technologies). Trolleys and Regional Rail train service will be enhanced, but only limited number of stations will be opened and only passenger with special pope fare pass will be allowed to ride. Aside regular service for buses, SEPTA enhanced Regional Rail Train services including Paoli/Thorndale Line to commentate anticipated large number of passengers. But likely for the 1st time since 206 started in its history, it did.
