Spokane Transit Authority 1994 TMC RTS-08 (T80-208) in new paint scheme, from 1994 to 2012 when they was retired...

NOTE: i couldn't find an exact 1994 TMC RTS-08 so i improvised and used a NovaBus RTS which is a very similar model, just the windows are... different.

If you want i can try and make you a window kit.

Anyone have (Either) a Blank 40ft Nova LFS with roofline and Frameless Windows - or - a 40ft Kingston Transit Express Nova LFS?

ALSO! BONUS if you also have a DRT PULSE XD40.

DRT is getting 4 new PULSE Nova's and I want to sketch what they should look like.

Been very long time since I last visited this place. ^^;

Grief aside, I bring something new, a design of my own.

The brand is Kashiwazaki Coaster Heavy Industries and the model is a super hi-decker - the Ginga (which means「Galaxy」in Japanese) - based on a geometry similar to the Mitsubishi Fuso AeroQueen.

Ginga is the first of a selection of highway/express bus models, and got it's inspiration on both traditional and modern aspects of Japan, such as the front design with it's branching headlights reminiscent of Kumadori (facial make-up worn by Kabuki performers), in contrast with an audaciously modern looking rear end, with it's funnel shaped black section, connected to the side windows through the upper corners.

The usage of this mix of modern and traditional represents by itself their harmonious relationship.

Briefing given, I leave you with the result, with it's first color scheme, for usage at the convention to be held during this weekend, where I am participating for the second consecutive time, expecting to sell a couple of prints to visitors, while part of the revenues will revert in favor of the responsible association, of which I am also a member of, in a bid for helping them into start investing on next projects the organization will be up to sometime later, or for next year's edition already.

Other paint schemes upon my trademark advanced tooling will surface in the next week.

As usual, use this under the rules; refer to my signature for them, or ask me the integral, if you're using a mobile device not supporting signatures.

Because the first Kashiwazaki Coaster「Ginga」is now a sale item in a bid for boosting the Japan culture association I am part of economically, I removed it effective immediately, to prevent third parties from taking the upper hand.

Still, I drop the first previews for the blanks respectfully for the North American import version, in the traditional 13.7m (45ft) length.

Windows, topside lights, split windshield and other details have been set up to match the usual NA requirements.

I will apply the first colors to both the Japanese and NA versions starting tomorrow; the NA version will be one you will much likely not expect (a clue however: it's a paint job you only see on commuter trains).

As for the original Japanese version, I'm hitting on a brand new Nishi-Nihon scheme, as shown below.

01_l.thumb.jpg.ee2c6d93dae5f0d28c69f4fd3afd02b3.jpg

Will not be an easy one, but since I am still on vacation, I won't give it up that easily. ^^

The first of the Kashiwazaki Coaster jobs is finally here.

Before I advance to it, I present the brand:

Kashiwazaki Coaster is a brand of mine whose creation was mainly influenced - and hurried! - by the fact I had to produce an original design of mine to sell copies of printed models for last weekend's Japan related convention, with the goal of donating half the earnings to finance next year's edition, or at least other minor events.

Because I unfortunately didn't sell a single copy, I still have the prints for sale on Facebook's Marketplace, but the ideal can still go on indefinitely, as I can print and/or produce, according to the order being for prints or completed models.

For now, the super hi-deck「Ginga」is the only model available, though I am predicting a hi-deck, non-step and three double deck variants (tour, city bus and open-top sightseeing), whose model names are yet to be decided.

Now, straight to business, this particular Ginga is 45 feet long, but with a slightly shorter wheelbase than normal.

The chosen scheme is a what-if thruway bus service with a scheme based directly on the newest schemes used by the Chicago commuter railways.

This scheme was adapted from a vector image of a MP36 on Dumielauxepices.net; because there is no known username associated to that upload, I rather added the「[UNKNOWN USER]」mention and the original site, which means that if anyone here is the author or knows who is, I kindly ask you to communicate it, so I can replace the mention.

Other than that, enjoy yourselves and if you liked this new original bus design be on the lookout for more KASHIWAZAKI COASTER models pouring in! ^^

The KC wave just keeps going! ^^

「Ginga」on it's original 12m Japan config also receives it's first coating, the also brand new Nishi-Nihon JR scheme.

Frameless windows:

You guys can also suggest the schemes you would like, while keeping in mind a hi-decker will also be made very soon, therefore a transit version with it's sedan style door will be included.

However, also keep in mind that the Ginga 45ft and it's hi-deck fleetmate are the ONLY models available in NA spec!

In line with my original brand - Kashiwazaki Coaster - the double decker comes out, and is named ANDROMEDA.

This particular ANDROMEDA is a one-off (yes, the ONLY 45' of the kind, so don't expect me to accept any other schemes) for an Italian company based in Southern Abruzzo, Donato Di Fonzo.

Di Fonzo has already a certain 'tradition' in using classical maps, but this time to stay in that tradition, but trying a slightly bolder approach, I decided to take a more modern map of the Japanese main island of Hokkaido.

Next up I will use the domestic 40' ANDROMEDA for JR Bus Kanto, Hokkaido Bus, JR Tohoku「Hayabusa」and Hato Bus (subject to changes/cancellation).

As usual, use these under the rules; refer to my signature for them, or ask me the integral, if you're using a mobile device not supporting signatures.

thank you, now it looks more like the actual RTS Spokane Transit had.

I did some slight alterations/fixings to the 2018 STA New Flyer XD60 and the 2017 New Flyer XD60, I added the 3 bike rack on the 2018 ones, and the regular 2 bike rack for the 2017 models and the yellow triangle on the rear, and the yellow triangle on the rear of the bus i took off of one of my pictures i took of the STA New Flyer XD60.

i only added the first page because the other pages didnt need to be fixed.

And the fixed proper windows for my 1994 STA TMC RTS (Fleet Number: 9401-9410

windows are courtesy of MCTAbus , he sent me the proper window kit which i applied to the two TMC RTS buses I did.. so i addded credits for him onto the bus.

I'm busy working on a lot of things so sadly not had much time to make paper buses but am working on a V2 of the "Wandering" COTA bus. V2 is essentially if i were to own the bus if it hadnt been sold to cata as a parts bus. Its still a WIP.

Hello

1. This is my first post!

2. I have a question. Does someone have a Chevrolet Arboc Spirit Of Mobility in a Translink livery? If not, could someone please make one? Photos can be found online.

Thanks 🙂

The second「ANDROMEDA」of my original brand - Kashiwazaki Coaster - is JDM and flies the colors of Hato Bus. ^^

28892794_.thumb.png.c98e18c14b514952bf2f296021e2a202.png884498430__p1.thumb.png.87f48ed26d9383e840c7f1fa4dd59d8d.png1522536555___p2.thumb.png.8dce333b3f9f11845d6f0c2d79bb9ca3.png

What I plan for other colors upon the JDM「ANDROMEDA」still stand, and altogether, at least three Swiss companies will also be featured, though they will be upon the longer 14m model.

Of side note, yet still inside the subject, the「GINGA」is also to receive the Hato Bus colors, as the「MAGELLAN」, which will in it's turn receive two more colors, the all new Nishi-Nihon JR and Kashiwazaki Kanko (not to be confused with either my alias, the brand, or even the Anime this name truly comes from; Kashiwazaki Kanko is real and is operating mostly Hino S'elega/Isuzu Gala units).

As usual, use these under the rules; refer to my signature for them, or ask me the integral, if you're using a mobile device not supporting signatures.

My take on what the TTC New Flyer XE40 'Xcelsior' Charge buses coming in a few months may look like..based on the proposed livery.

I also threw in a TTC Orion 07.501 in the Toronto Police Livery, based on the 6 units transferred over and converted into Events Support vehicles. (ES-0 - ES-5)

That bus has already been done by your's truly - me.  I've also completed the Rapid KL version which can be searched for in this thread.  Just search "Rapid KL" and you'll find it.

NOTE:  I only post painted bus models that I've already done, no updating will be done as I would like to move on with other bus models to deal with, and - most importantly, I do NOT take bus model requests.  If I do that, people will soon pester me in regards to how the "project" is going along.

Thanks and enjoy!

p.s.  To ALL:  I'm back and will post some models that I've already completed.  😉

Request:

Is anyone able to recreate the pink livery on New Flyer XE40 demonstrator "Kevin?" I just need the livery and an XE40 blank to apply it on.
