I don't have a good handle as to how high the 5200 series Gilligs go. I've seen 5250 but I thought I saw a video with 5259. I think there are two additional batches of 15 each from 5601.

Oddly, 6510 (while on 41W) is saying the previous Scottsdale circulators, like Downtown Trolley (SCDT on the sign) for some peculiar reason I don't know of.

It may be the fault of the route description if I had to guess, but it does have the new annunciator setup.

Since the new announciator change, most 6500 2007 d40lfs and 5001-5120 C40lfrs arent showing up on Phoenix Transit API page, or Transcee, today no buses are showing at all

Well, it seems like conforming to one color scheme is out the window. Even keeping the same template with different colors would be reasonable. But this is pretty close to 6811 et al.

The bid for the Commuter Coaches is active. The proposed schedule is for five coaches in year 1, twenty in year 2, six in year 4, plus five options each in years 2-5. It is accepting bids for both "Low Entry" and "High Entry" coaches.

Here are my predictions on which buses I believe will show up at next week's auction:

*6502

*6517

*8048

*Unknown 2008 C40LFR buses

*Unknown 03 & 04 NABI 45C-LFW buses

I will be checking the auction site next week in case any of these buses do show up.

Looks like the 77 Baseline extension won't happen this October for now. However, in Mesa, Saturday frequency is being expanded in Mesa and Sunday service is being added in Mesa.

Also, Sunday service is being added to the Mesa portions of the 104 Alma School and 136 Gilbert Road.

Looks like the 2011 C40LFR's are installing the new annunciator system. The past few times I was on a 2011 or 2012 C40LFR, those buses had Xerox for the annunciator.

Found on 6677.

The Gilligs are 2018. The Excelsiors are 2019 (I think). 8519 is a 2008.

The Compobus fleet is down to less than 25, so there must be more Rapids in service. I only saw up to 7175 and 7310 in service a few months ago.

I think as of the April schedule changes, all 2009 RPTA New Flyer C40LFRs are now at Tempe, except the two silver-painted ones.

Just a little updates in the East Valley, it appears the New Flyer XN40s have pretty much completely replaced the Tempe-based Gilligs on the 72-Scottsdale/Rurral and 81-Hayden/McClintock.  Now I often see the Tempe-based Gilligs on the 77-Baseline and 96-Dobson.

Looks like the Commuter Coach contract will go to MCI, for 30 D45 CRT LE coaches (plus 20 options). The only other bidder was Prevost.

Also six ARBOC Spirit of Equess buses to replace the Aero Elites on Zoom North.

I wonder, are there still any New Flyer DE60LFRs in Mesa?  Every one I seen recently had Tempe sign programming.  I think the reason for putting a few in Mesa originally was due to an uneven fleet age of artics between Tempe and Mesa when Mesa had the NABI 60-BRTs, which I think in their final years were less reliable than the other artics in the East Valley fleet.  With the NABI 60-BRTs gone and Mesa now having New Flyer XN60s, I'm guessing having the DE60LFRs in Mesa is no longer necessary.

I haven't seen one of those in a a long time, since they were taken off Rural  Road. More recently I have seen many more RPTA 6600s on 56/66/81/104/140/156,  instead of Gilligs or Tempe green C40LFRs.
