ATTENTION ALL USERS OF THIS BOARD:

Recently, there has been some serious fraud allegations by a charity known as "Change 4 a Cure". This organisation was launched by a Burlington, Ontario native named "Ashley Anne Kirilow". The original plan was to donate all of the money collected to the University of Alberta. A charity walk was scheduled from Toronto to the University of Alberta in the spring of this year, but it did not materialise.

As a result, all of the monies donated were kept by Kirilow herself. This organisation is an "unregistered charity" as outlined by the Canada Revenue Agency's Income Tax Act. The legal authorities are now involved in the case and as of this time, all parties involved are not available for comment about the organisation at this time.

Are you kidding, no one here in Los Angeles knows how to drive. I can't tell you how many times I've nearly been run over because drivers fail to recognize pedestrian right of ways...

New York drivers are worse than Los Angeles drivers in general, but LA's drivers are not used to the idea of pedestrians.

Got a height check at the doctor today, and I can't believe that I'm still 5'5. The last time I checked my height was in April 2008 and I somehow haven't grow since then. Oh well, hopefully my kids (if I have any) will have better luck.

There was an article about this in the Edmonton Sun today. Apparently, she pretended to have cancer so she could get more attention from her parents. She then fund-raised, but claims it's only $3000, instead of the $20 000 that is reported  . Basically, she is a wonderful example of why I feel justified in being slightly misanthropic.
