Any idea what, (if anything) will move to MtD as a replacement?

Probably nothing. Mount Dennis now has 258 buses which is close to their capacity limit of 250 and Wilson is at 266 which is close to their 270 bus capacity limit. So I'm gonna say that they were trying to balance the fleets out.

There is no such thing as "stealing" buses. The garages are all part of the TTC and decisions about allocations are made centrally, Wilson is not acting as a rogue agent "stealing" buses. 🤦‍♂️

I think what the TTC is doing now is trying to somehow balance the fleets out at all of the bus divisions hence why MtD is closer to 250 buses (256) and Wilson is just above 270 buses (272)

Not quite, Malvern can ship off their 12/13xxs to replace some of the OGs and NGs that were retired in recent months though the 35xxs that came from Arrow Road pushed out the 13xxs to Wilson. This will leave the 15/16xxs as the only NG units at Malvern but will be phased out when the new deliveries of the Xcelsior and LFS hybrid buses arrive.

No mass retirements can happen until the new buses arrive.

The OG fleet (156 diesels, 132 hybrids) will most likely be all be gone when the hybrid order arrives considering they are the oldest buses in the fleet. For the NG hybrids (approx. 200 left), the hybrid order (337 hybrids) will probably replace about 50 of them and then the electric order will just replace the remaining ones.

Here's my theory: the XDE40s to MtD to replace the OG hybrids, XDE60s to MtD to push out nova artics to McNicoll, nova hybrids to McNicoll to send the 3100s to Queensway to replace the OG diesels, some units get shuffled around to replace some of the NG hybrid fleet.

Thought they intended McN to be a diesel only depot?
