The Q107 DJ worked at the Air Canada Centre from the 1999-2000 season to 2015-2016 (16 seasons as the 2004-2005 NHL season was cancelled by the lockout) replacing Paul Morris who was the last PA announcer at the old Maple Leaf Gardens (now Mattamy Sports Centre). Auston Matthews, the teams' first round pick in this year's draft, was signed to an entry level contract as well as performance-laiden bonuses. What the issue was that back in New Jersey when Lou Lammerallo was the Devils' GM, he didn't allow any of the young players get those bonuses in their contracts at all. The 49-year-old has been an assistant coach for Guy Boucher during his tenures in Tampa Bay and in Hamilton. Rangers have managed to avoid arbitration with forward Chris Kreider.
