6471 was having GPS issues; internal NSAS does not work and signed 85 Gatineau despite it actually being 85 Bayshore. The exterior destination sign said "Route 63, Briarbrook" instead of "Route 85, Bayshore"

For some reason, the driver/someone thought to put "Farebox out of service" stickers on the NSAS screens. I hope they'd have something that's plastic to scrape it off afterword. Also, driver wasn't calling out stops as I'm pretty sure they're required to.

I've also noticed that a few of the buses i've been on lately had those stickers on the fare boxes. (Drivers unable to issue transfers/day pass.?)

There's been a glitch twice over the last few days where the transfers printed would read an expiry time of 00:00 for that day, regardless of when they were printed. As a result, we were told to not accept cash fares. I tested one, and it actually did work on the fare gate...as long as it's before midnight, I guess? :P

Issue happened Boxing Day and Saturday 28 December.

Saw these R1 Buses at Tunneys Pasture this morning (sorry for the blurred image)

I believe they are placing R1 buses at various parts of Line 1 for quicker response times, specifically at the far west of the line.

I'm not sure it belongs here as it was not an individual spotting, but I saw some 20+ OC Transpo Invero buses parked in a facility just off of Maple Grove Rd., just west of Terry Fox Dr. in Kanata on Sunday (December 29th)… they all still had OC Transpo liveries, but I've never seen OC Transpo buses there before.

I was heading east on Palladium and didn't have time to take any photos, sadly.

Might of been a charter for a Hockey Tournament at the Sens Plex,

In the pics of the R1 service I see that some of the buses are the dedicated ones with the R1 stickers and others are just regular old OC buses without the stickers but still listing R1 on destination. Is there any difference in where these buses actually go? The stickers just confuse me... but I am not a regular LRT user.

Correct.

OC Transpo management did indicate the intention to the Transit Commission on December 18 in spreading out the location on where the R1 extras are staged in the AM and PM Peak, see slide 21: http://www.octranspo.com/images/files/Confed-Line-Service_Dec-18_EN.pdf

Would they need 20 or more buses for that, though?

With the Bell Capital Cup events this week (Dec 28-Jan 1 2020) . I wouldn't be surprised

(There was a early game at the CTC this morning)

Canadian Tire service requires just 15 buses, and the buses are kept at the arena or at Terry Fox Station. Sensplex events don't get bus service. Were they hybrids and Inveroes? Perhaps it's retired buses being temporarily housed at that location.

The buses at Maple Grove are decommissioned units that were taking up much needed space at the garages. They are being stored there.
