Buses in the snow

These photos are the only two that I can find. The first one is taken back in the new year's eve of 2005. The second one is taken last month. Both taken in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I have some Santa Bus '06 photos...but on that day it RAINED instead of SNOW. It's now hard to find snow even up here in Thunder Bay.

Ah well... Enjoy!

It's funny you've asked, cause usually Thunder Bay gets completely dumped of snow and biggest dip of windchill! Sometimes it gets so bad, the entire city is in shutdown!

Has anyone noticed that LF buses get dirtier much faster than HF ones?

I hope you mean on the inside.

I've always noticed that, my guess on why this is so is that stomping on the stairs makes your shoes cleaner. In turn on HF buses the stairs are extremely slushy in the winter and slippery.

By the way here's a picture I took last week at Terminus Cote-Vertu.

A Low Floor is closer to the ground. Just like my pants get dirty fast because I am short and closer to the ground than most of my friends. It's all part of the wide, low design.

ETS and CT should have no problem on their LF as they have front wheel brush to keep the debris flickering all over the lower window.

I took my first snow picture today but it suck very badly because I took it at night and I never held the camera perfectly still so it's blurry but I'll still post it. It's a picture of TTC 1996 Orion ex-CNG V 9421 on route 32 Eglinton West.
