I mistakenly posted in the wrong forum so I'll just repeat what I posted there...

I noticed this operator has a few old GM's from the 60's in their fleet and I would like to know if trying to catch these is possible?

If so, what's the best place to see these that's accesible from Ottawa?

Are any of these Gm's retired?

thanks for any advice!

All the gms are retired. the last 3 ran out of deep river (as STM_5307n pointed out)

They were retired within the last few years.

Sorry.. all Thom has is school buses, coach buses and short buses.

Dang,

Everything they had could have made a great bus museum.

I used to live in Deep River and saw these things daily.

One has been preserved by some suburban Montreal heritage group to represent one of there former buses.

I also have in my possession one of the rollsigns from former AECL GM #146 iirc (acquired after it was scrapped). I'm just kicking myself I didn't get any of the retro GM nose plates.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact they ran Twin Coaches.

I was back home in Deep River over the weekend. The 3 GM's used for Deep River service are still parked in the garage there, and someone was checking on them, so odds are they're still in service.

Was in Deep River at lunch time. Saw Transport Thom # 551 which is a IC/Eldorado cutaway in front of the garage. No sign of any fishbowls.
