And not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet, but the routing for northbound Line 1 shuttle has changed due to new lane restrictions on Yonge near St Clair.  The buses are unable to make wide turns at that intersection, so now they’re going east on St Clair, north on Mt Pleasant, west on Davisville back to Yonge where they get back to regular routing up Yonge St.

Prior to the pandemic, Line 1 shuttles would typically drop passengers off at the main entrance on St Clair, then proceed via Avoca and Pleasant to the lower level bus terminal to load for the northbound trip. Your post makes it sound like this no longer occurs - does loading now occur on street level, at the same spot as buses are unloading?

No, sorry.  They still unload at street and go to the lower level bus terminal for boarding.  Instead of turning right out of the terminal onto Pleasant and right onto Yonge, they now turn left onto Pleasant, left on Avoca, then right onto St Clair to follow the routing I described.

They were still following the previous routing for most of the pandemic until construction and lane realignment/bike lane additions + CafeTO came all at once.  I took the shuttle last weekend and can’t be too sure about when the routing changed as the driver of the bus I was on that day (Artic) turned left on Plesant, left on Avoca, and left on St Clair instead of right, and then struggled quite a bit to turn right onto Yonge (they had to reverse a few times at the intersection to make the turn without hitting anything).  As we approached Davisville that day, I noticed two other northbound shuttle buses turn right off Davisville onto Yonge.

I took the shuttle yesterday and the day before - both followed the new routing I mentioned in my earlier post.

Northbound Line 1 Shuttle buses have returned to their regular routing between St. Clair & Davisville Stns:
Exit St. Clair Stn bus loop to westbound Pleasant, then right to northbound Yonge.

TTC Nove artic seen eastbound on Ingram approaching Kincourt at around 6 PM. Number unknown. Transsee does not show any artics on 59 MAPLE LEAF. Is it a 41 KEELE short turn? Or is it a RAD? Do artics participate in RAD? (From what i have read from Steve Munro, "bus type" is a slippery and amorphous concept.)

TTC 1070, 1097, 3154, 7970, and 8185 working the 504 replacement bus from Broadview station to Roncesvalles/Triller via Dufferin and Queen today.

A mildly interesting thing I noticed was that Mount Dennis division buses were signed “504/505 Parliament&King” heading westbound, as they do during the normal long-term detour routing, but that buses from all other divisions were signed “504Q King to Roncesvalles/Triller via Dufferin&Queen”.

Heading eastbound, Mount Dennis buses were signed “504/505 Broadview Stn” and Wilson buses were signed “504 King to Shaw”.

This could definitely be a source of rider confusion. Does this have to do with the VISION system?
