Since I wasn’t able to get a picture of the current 4603, here’s a picture of the previous 4603.   Some people may even remember the 4603 before this one too.

Trick question? The TTC never had a 4603 prior to the A15 class.

My mistake then.  I thought that number had been held by one of the used PCCs previously.

There were a few gaps in PCC numbering. The last Cincinnati car was 4601 (was that the prototype air-electric?), then picked up at 4625 for the ex-Cleveland PCCs.

4575 I believe.

Yeah, the gapping tripped me up.  I didn't check a roster and tried to go by memory on that one.  So the previous 4603 I've got in the picture at National Capital is the first 4603.  I'll have to ask  if the trucks went out for overhaul before the COVID stuff started up.  Hopefully by the time they come back the pandemic will have calmed down and the car can get recommissioned.

Express routes are running today. Saw numerous buses on the 925 (enough to appear like they're using their normal Saturday schedule) as well as at least one bus on 939 and 985A.

None are logged into Transsee however, and no Express routes (other than 900 and 927) are showing up.

All express routes resumed last Monday, drivers were told to run local service but as normal they run express still...

I saw 4549 on Long Branch on the way home while I was having a coffee and enjoying the warm sun on my back.

 

It’s nice and all but it isn’t a PCC car, that’s for sure.  Speaking of which, remember how they made sure when they were rebuilding and renumbering fishbowls 20+ years ago, the TTC made sure not to double up and number one 2766?  Is that no longer a problem or do the two PCC cars still on the books as 4604 and 4605?

PCC's 4500 and 4549 are indeed numbered internally as 4604 and 4605, respectively.

(3/14/2020) No I didn’t use Transee, but I saw a 3100 series Nova crossing McCowan Road and Ellesmere at about 4:39PM on the 95, if it wasn’t on the 95, I’ll call my optometrist and tell him I need new prescription glasses. After seeing the Special Sightings thread, it was 3189 I saw on the 95.

(3/14/2020) Saw an 8100 NG getting towed probably from Malvern or where the 42 terminates near Markham Road going westbound on the 401 at Markham Road back to the Wilson Division

None of the Events Support buses have external fleet numbers. The only way to tell the units apart is through the license plate.

It's really hard to see the plate through your photo - if it's BM2 741 then it's ES-0 (ex-7900); if it's BM2 747 then it's ES-2 (ex-7902).
